Feverfew
A number of studies have found that eating feverfew leaves can decrease the frequency and severity of migraine headaches. Buy this plant at a farmers' market, or grow it yourself. Eat one leaf daily. If symptoms don't improve after a week, you can take a maximum of two leaves. Some people develop mild mouth sores, but they're harmless; just stop chewing the leaves for a few days. Don't take feverfew if you're pregnant.
